Newtownabbey Alliance Councillors Tom Campbell, Lynn Frazer and Billy Webb have jointly expressed shock and sadness at the recent attacks in Antrim and Craigavon.
They said: “We are appalled at the recent attacks. There can be no return to the bleak days of the troubles. Over the past few days, the whole community has stood shoulder to shoulder to condemn these attacks and appeal for people to help police catch these terrorists.
“Our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones in these recent attacks. The whole community wants to send their condolences to them at their time of extreme sadness.
“The peace process cannot and will not be derailed by the actions of a small minority of evil individuals incapable of accepting the new, stable Northern Ireland . All politicians and the whole community must remain united in their opposition to this violence and in their calls for information to be provided to police on the attacks.”
