Seán Neeson MLA said: “John Harrison was a true gentleman and one of the finest photographers you could ever meet.
“He was to the fore at every major event in Northern Ireland over the past 20 years. Everything that has happened here in recent times, John had been there covering it.
“His photography has always been very high acclaimed and John was very highly regarded by politicians and the media alike. I want to pass on my deepest sympathies to his wife Mandy and the rest of his family at this time of loss.”
