Naomi Long MP said: “It’s extremely important that we promote awareness of this issue. I am very pleased to have been able to take part in the ‘Wear it Pink’ event.
“It’s imperative that new research can be funded to combat breast cancer and the ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign plays a very valued role in raising funds.
“I know from my own family’s experience that the need to better understand breast cancer and awareness-raising campaigns are vital so that people can spot the warning signs and access treatment at the earliest possible stage.”
