Alliance Lisburn South representative Stephen Martin has expressed his delight at today’s opening of Dobbies Garden World in Lisburn.
Stephen Martin stated: “Lagan Valley Alliance very much welcome today’s opening of the new Dobbies Garden World at Saintfield Road , Lisburn. By choosing our city as their first base in Northern Ireland , Dobbies Garden World is a further feather in Lisburn’s cap as a premier retail destination.
“The new 48,000 sq ft premises was as a result of an £8.6 million investment in the city and has created 120 new jobs. In otherwise extremely difficult economic circumstances, this investment is a vote of confidence in Lisburn’s economy and I wish Dobbies every success in their endeavours to bring gardening to the masses.”
