Lyttle thanks Victims’ Commissioner for her work

Alliance OFMDFM spokesperson, Chris Lyttle MLA, has thanked Victims’ Commissioner Kathryn Stone for her work for victims and survivors after she announced that she was leaving her post for a new job in England.

Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I would like to pay tribute to the professional and compassionate manner in which Kathryn has worked for all victims and survivors.

“She successfully represented the views of the Victims Forum, raising key issues such as proposals around dealing with the past and victims’ welfare which included the proposal of a pension for the seriously injured.

“I worked closely with Kathryn on these issues and I would like to thank her for the contribution she has made to Northern Ireland. I would like to wish her well for her new career and hope that the next Victims’ Commissioner can build on her successful work.”
