Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I was delighted to sponsor this Christians Against Poverty event in Stormont today. They are an exceptional charity whose debt advice and counselling services can make life changing differences to the people they help.
“They are working with people who are in some circumstances in dire need of assistance and everybody should applaud them for the work they carry out.
“I wanted to help recognise the work they do especially as they are now building a first class reputation with financial institutions that gives them a unique ability to negotiate on behalf of clients.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone involved in this organisation for the vital work they carry out and wish them every success in the future to help people out of poverty.”
