Trevor Lunn MLA said: “In all of the schools that have received funding, there is a very clear need for a serous amount of capital investment, especially where if no investment was made then a large amount of money would have to be spent on temporary maintenance.
“Having visited several of these schools I have seen for myself the desperate need for funding such as at Dromore Central Primary School and Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagain in Belfast.
“While welcoming this list today, I can however easily identity another 18 schools that are also in need of serious investment. I know there are several integrated schools that require investment and I am disappointed that none of them were included in the list announced today by the Education Minister.”
