Lunn shocked by farm deaths

Alliance Lagan Valley MLA Trevor Lunn has expressed his shock after three people died in a farming accident on Saturday night in Hillsborough. Four people fell into a slurry tank, three of whom died. It is believed that it is a father and two sons who died while a daughter was rescued.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I was extremely shocked to have heard of these deaths, this is an absolute tragedy for this family as well as the farming community right across Northern Ireland.

“My thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of those who died in this accident.

“Words cannot express how sad I am to hear of these deaths. I know the local community will give their support to the family and help them through this difficult time.”
