Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This robbery was a despicable act particularly as children under the age of five were subject to this harrowing experience.
“There have been a number of armed robberies in the previous week in the West Belfast and Lagan Valley area which must be of a concern for local residents.
“People assume that they are safe in their own houses but I am sure that some will be worried that they aren’t after these robberies.
“While several people have been arrested in connection with this crime I would still urge anyone with any information about this robbery to contact the police to ensure a conviction.”
