Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has expressed her shock after a man died after he was shot in College Square North in Belfast City Centre on Thursday night.
Anna Lo MLA said: “I am shocked to hear of this brutal and vicious murder. I would like to express my condolences to the family and friends of this man. My thoughts are with them at what must be a hard time for them.
“I really do not know what would go through the mind of people who carry out murders such as this. Guns have absolutely no place on our street.
“The people responsible for this gun attack are obviously very callous and dangerous individuals and must be urgently apprehended by the police, so I would urge anybody with any information about this murder to contact the police.”
