Ford condemns Antrim pipe bomb attack

Alliance South Antrim MLA David Ford has condemned the pipe bomb attack on a house in Antrim. The bomb was thrown at a house in the Brantwood Gardens area in the early hours of Friday morning. The family of five were in the house at the time but were uninjured.

David Ford MLA said: “This pipe bomb endangered the lives of those in the house at the time as well as their neighbours. This type of attack is a relic of the past, which is where it belongs.

“I am concerned that there was allegedly paramilitary involvement in this attack.

“And I would urge anybody with any information about this attack to contact the police.”
