Dickson disgusted by attack on Police

Alliance Justice spokesperson, Stewart Dickson MLA, has expressed his disgust after a Police vehicle was attacked in Londonderry on Sunday night. A device exploded after it was thrown at the vehicle, causing damage to a rear door and a nearby garden. No-one was injured.

Stewart Dickson MLA said: “I am disgusted by this callous and reckless attack on the PSNI. The Police are there to protect the community; there can be no justification for any attack on them.

“I am relieved that no-one was hurt by this attack. Somebody could have been killed or seriously injured. The people behind it have no regard for the consequences of their actions.

“Those responsible are very dangerous criminals who must be urgently apprehended by the Police. I would therefore urge anybody with information about this incident to contact the PSNI.”
