Alliance Justice spokesperson Stewart Dickson has commented on the evidence given by Police Ombudsman Al Hutchinson to the Assembly Justice Committee on Thursday afternoo.
Stewart Dickson MLA said: “I acknowledge that Al Hutchinson is now in the process of ending his tenure as Police Ombudsman.
“I am concerned that the investigations into historic cases have been suspended and I sympathise with the families that this decision will affect, many of whom have waited for a long time for answers.
“I will continue to work to get confidence from victims, survivors and their families in the Police Ombudsman.”
