Naomi Long MP said: “While the equipment stolen was not life saving equipment, this robbery did take an ambulance out of service for a period of time. To replace this equipment has cost the ambulance service vaulable time and resources that could have been better spent delivering medical treatment.
“It is disgraceful that this equipment was stolen from an ambulance and that it was carried out while members of our emergency services were working to help the public.
“If anybody has any information about this robbery or about the sale of this stolen equipment then they must contact the police.”
