Cllr Billy Webb said: “This month I will be growing a moustache in an effort to raise money for charity.
“It is very important that we raise awareness about testicular and prostate cancer as so many people are affected by this and we need to educate people about it.
“This is a cause that I feel passionately about as a member of my extended family, who just had his 31st birthday, is fighting this disease with great dignity and determination.
“I’m asking you to consider supporting my efforts by making a donation to Movember (in partnership with The Prostate Cancer Charity and Everyman (Institute of Cancer Research). It is a great cause and I hope this campaign will help generate publicity for the cause and raise awareness amongst the public.”
