Webb – North Belfast shooting was a brutal attack

Alliance North Belfast representative Cllr Billy Webb has described a shooting on Butler Walk in which a man was shot in the leg as a brutal attack. The attack happened on Thursday night when several men entered the victim’s home where they shot him once in the leg.

Cllr Billy Webb said: “This was a brutal and appalling attack. I can not comprehend what must have been going through the mind of those people who carried out this sickening crime.

“My thoughts are with the victim of this disgusting attack. I hope that this he is able to make a full recovery from injuries.

“I would urge anybody with any information about this shooting to contact the police.”
