Cllr Billy Webb said: “It is great to hear that young people believe that we must break down the barriers in our divided society. These divisions are unsustainable and actually do more harm than good. There is no reason why we should still be living in a segregated society.
“These cross community events can be extremely beneficial and it would be great to see more of them right across Northern Ireland. I hope that the young people taking part in today’s event get a lot of it and I want to wish them every success in their project.
“More and more people are realising that change to a shared future is vital. I only wish that the other political parties would realise this.”
