Commenting on the proposal, Larry remarked: “Craigowen Lodge is a listed building steeped in heritage which simply must be restored and protected. It currently has a tin roof, installed to protect this historic building, following a fire a few years ago. I am delighted to learn that Hearth Housing Association is progressing plans to renovate the building with work due to start on site in 2012/13, subject to relevant approvals and planning.”
Concluding, Larry stated: “It is of paramount importance that funding for organisations such as Hearth continues to secure our heritage and allow historic homes to be used as family homes by future generations.”
