Jonathan Simpson said: “This was a despicable incident and my thoughts are with the individual who was subjected to this harrowing ordeal. I also want to wish him a speedy recovery from his injury.
“It is very sad that someone cannot go about their daily work without the threat of violence. Anyone who can help the police catch the perpetrator should contact them immediately as this person must be taken off our streets.”
