Poll on integrated education shows why we need change

Alliance Education Spokesperson Trevor Lunn has welcomed poll results published in the Belfast Telegraph today that show that 88% of those surveyed here are in favour of integrated education.

Trevor Lunn said: “These polls are a very positive and significant sign that people want change in our education system. The vast majority of people want the changes that Alliance has been advocating for years – The survey clearly shows we need more sharing and integration in our schools system.

“This poll also demonstrates that people want society to change to break down the barriers and to create a genuinely shared future.

“It is very significant that on the day these polls were published, Alliance launched our election campaign. We are the movement for change and we are the party of a shared future.”
