Sean Neeson MLA said: “This is excellent news and will be a big boost to the local economy. County Antrim has a very proud history of manufacturing and I hope that this expansion will allow this history to continue for a long time to come.
“This area was hard hit during the economic downturn and many highly qualified and skilled workers lost their jobs, so I hope that these new jobs will allow those who have not yet found work to get back into employment.
“Schrader hope to use this expansion to target European and Asian markets which will further boost Northern Ireland reputation across the world.”
