Keith McGrellis said: “I am disgusted by the actions of the mindless thugs responsible for the burning of these wreaths. It shows a lack of respect to those paid the ultimate sacrifice in two world wars and other conflicts.
“Their actions are clearly an attempt to increase tensions in the city.
“We must not let the actions of a small minority damage the good community relation works that is currently going on in Derry.”
