He said: “The facts of what happened and how it happened on Tuesday night have yet to be established. No good can come of jumping to conclusions at this point, while a thorough investigation is on-going.
“With tensions around the incident running high in the community, I don’t understand why elected representatives – including the First Minister – are rushing to get involved when the facts remain unclear.”
