Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “Services of this nature play a big role in the lives of children and families and I am very glad that the Minister has announced that a new facility will be built in Omagh.
“Respite services are a vital resource for children and families and they provide much needed support for carers who play a very important role in our society.
“This news will provide a significant boost for the Fermanagh and Tyrone area which has in recent times suffered serious cuts in vital frontline services.”
