Ards Councillor, Mr McCarthy, said: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died in this tragic fire. I wish to pass on my deepest condolences at this most difficult of times.
“The police must carry out a full investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding this distressing incident.
“The whole community is shocked and saddened at this news of this woman’s tragic death.”
