McCarthy passes condolences to family of murdered man

Alliance Strangford MLA Kieran McCarthy has called on the police to fully investigate the murder of a 26 year old man in Newtownards. The man was found in the Balfour Street area of the town on Tuesday night, a 36 year old man has been arrested in connection with the murder.

Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “This death is extremely sad news. My condolences go out to the family of this man.

“The police must carry out a full investigation to get the bottom of this murder.

“I would appeal for anybody with any information about this death to contact the police.”
