Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “I am very concerned by problems that so many paramedics say they are facing. It is unacceptable that anybody would face such pressures in their work.
“The Health Minister must look to urgently address these concerns and ensure that they are given the support and backing they require to reduce the pressures that they face.
“Lives depend on their actions. The Minister cannot let this situation continue where paramedics are taking time off work due to the pressures and stress they face.”
