Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “I am simply shocked that this man appears to have died on an unattended trolley. The Health Minister must carry a full and transparent investigation into the death of this man.
“I know the good work that thousands of our health staff carry out on a daily basis but we must get all the facts to ensure that this tragic incident never happens again.
“I would like to pass my condolences to the family of this man. I hope that the outcome of any investigation will be able to provide answers to them.”
