Larne Alliance Councillor John Mathews has expressed disgust at petrol bomb attacks on a house in Elizabeth Avenue and another one in Bryan Street in Larne early on Thursday saying the attacks will have shocked the community. Police are investigating a link between the incidents.
Cllr John Mathews said: “These were despicable incidents and I am disgusted at them. People in the town will be deeply shocked at news of these attacks.
“It is frightening to think of how someone could carry out an attack of this nature. Those who want to create fear must never be allowed win, and our society has changed for the better in recent years.
“Anyone with information on these attacks should contact police immediately.”
