Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I am pleased that Dr Haass has acknowledged the importance of also addressing segregation in education and housing in the upcoming cross party talks.
“We cannot continue to ignore these issues which have significant impact on any efforts to build a stable democracy and economy. It will be difficult to implement any outcome of these talks if fundamental divisions in our society remain in place.
“The Alliance Party firmly believes that to achieve a genuine shared future, a comprehensive strategy that tackles all the issues must be delivered.”
