Lyttle says we must grasp the unique opportunity that the Haass talks present

Speaking ahead of a meeting with Dr Richard Haass, Chris Lyttle MLA said: “We must grasp the unique opportunity that the talks present. We must find long term and permanent solutions to the issues of flags, parades and the past, to progress the wish of our society to achieve a shared future.

“The business community and other members of civic society who want to see these issues resolved, must make their voices heard.

“Alliance will continue to make sure the voices of everyone are represented in these talks. We will seek to find agreement that is in the best interests of our whole society.

“The talks are entering a crucial stage. All parties must now show real commitment to achieving a positive outcome.”
