Lyttle hails achievement of Palmerston Residents’ Association on station garden

East Belfast Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle has praised the efforts of Palmerston Residents’ Association on Sydenham Community Station getting 3rd place in the community rail halts section of Ulster in Bloom Festival 2010. The Association adopted the station two years ago and Mr Lyttle commended the work done by the group.

Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I want to commend the tremendous efforts of Palmerston Residents’ Association on their achievement in gaining 3rd place in this section of the Ulster in Bloom Festival 2010.

“This community project shows how when people work together they can make a very positive difference in their area.

“This type of project gets people involved in horticulture and is very beneficial for the community.”
