Trevor Lunn MLA stated: “These burglaries have shocked the whole community in Lisburn. I am sickened that pensioners have been targeted for such treatment. What sort of person could bring themselves to rob an older person.
“This must have been a deeply traumatic experience for all those affected and my thoughts are with them.
“We need to get these thugs off the streets immediately because we do not want to see anyone else having to suffer a similar ordeal. Anyone with information on these burglaries should contact police urgently.”
