Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This is great news for Lisburn. This opening shows that even during the downturn, Lisburn still has massive potential and can attract big hitters.
“This new hotel is a sign of things to come for the city. It is a place on the move and I believe there will be a number of new hotels being built here in the coming years.
“I think that the proprietors of the Beechlawn Hotel and the Ballymac Hotel must wonder why some people said that Lisburn had no hotel for years because they are located within the council boundaries, as was the White Gables in Hillsborough.”
