Lunn condemns Bessbrook pipe bomb attack

Alliance Policing Board member Trevor Lunn MLA has condemned those responsible for a pipe bomb attack on a house in Bessbrook at midnight on Friday. Nobody was injured in the attack on the house on Ardaveen Park, but a van was damaged.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This was an indiscriminate attack that could have caused serious injury or worse to anybody nearby.

“Those responsible for this attack obviously have no regard for the consequences of their actions.

“If anybody has any information about this attack then I would urge them to contact the police.”
