Lunn appalled at death threat against school Principal

Alliance Education Spokesperson Trevor Lunn MLA has stated that he is appalled at the death threat which was made against Dr Annabel Scott, Principal of Crumlin Integrated College. She had just returned from a two year suspension following a critical report of her.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I am appalled that somebody would issue a death threat against a school Principal. It is completely unacceptable.

“Teachers and Principals should be allowed to get on with the teaching our children. Their work is extremely important to ensure that our future generations have the knowledge to work for the benefit of Northern Ireland, and this death threat is getting in the way of this important work.

“I would like to voice my support to Dr Scott during this difficult time. I am glad that the Police and education authorities have taken steps to counter this death threat and minimise any disruption that is has caused.

“If anybody has any information about this death threat then I would urge them to contact the Police.”
