The new Flybe ‘Spirit of Belfast’ flight launched this morning (Monday) from Belfast City Airport to London City Airport, the first of three daily flights to the city’s financial district.
Alliance MP Mrs Long said she had enjoyed the flight and would recommend the service to business users in particular.
“It is a convenient flight, originating at Belfast City Airport and arriving in central London, giving both business and leisure travellers from Northern Ireland an easier way to connect to London.
“It is also a boost for the local economy, as it will showcase Belfast as a business hub, making this service a vital link when we promote the city and further afield as a place to invest.”
