Long pleased at Bombardier partnerships boost

East Belfast Alliance MP Naomi Long has welcomed news of business partnerships aimed at maximising the economic impact of Bombardier aircraft programmes here saying the developments will hopefully provide a real boost to the local economy. The announce came during an aerospace event in Washington.

Naomi Long MP said: “These partnerships are excellent news for the economy in the East Belfast area.

“We have a strong and proud industrial heritage in the East Belfast area and Bombardier plays a massive role in this. Developments like this will hopefully help this industry flourish here long into the future.

“This is the positive type of news we need on the day that serious real-terms budget cuts have been announced for Northern Ireland at Westminster.”
