The South Belfast MLA said: “These deaths show the tragic consequences that can occur from car crime. It should act as a deterrent to others who get involved in this sort of behaviour.
“The people who get involved in car crime think they are not hurting anybody but this just shows what can tragically happen.
“I would like to extend my sympathies to the families of those involved in the crash.”
