Lo disgusted by robbery in South Belfast

Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has expressed her disgust after three men in their 20s were tied up and robbed by a masked gang in an apartment on Cromwell Street on Tuesday night. The masked gang of four or five men were armed with a baseball bat and a crowbar; they stole mobile phones and wallets.

Anna Lo MLA said: “I am disgusted by those who carried out this robbery. What sort of a person would carry out such crime?

“The people responsible are obviously very dangerous individuals who have no regard for the wellbeing of others

“I hope that the victims will be able to get over what must have been a scary and traumatic experience.

“If anybody has any information about this robbery then I would urge them to contact the police.”
