Lo condemns sickening sex attack

South Belfast Alliance MLA Anna Lo has described as sickening a sex attack on a woman that took place near Donegall Pass in the early hours of this morning. Anna Lo recently proposed a motion in the Assembly on the issue of sex attacks in South Belfast.

Anna Lo MLA said: “I am appalled at this sickening attack. This must have been a harrowing ordeal for the victim and she is in my thoughts at this time.

“There appears to be a disturbing pattern of attacks of this nature in the South Belfast area and I have previously raised this issue in the Assembly.

“The dangerous individual who carried out this assault must be taken off our streets. I appeal to anyone who can assist police with their investigation to contact them immediately.”
