Lo and Consumer Council promote Chinese shoppers initiative

The Consumer Council and Anna Lo, MLA are encouraging the Chinese community to become savvy consumers. The Consumer Council distributed over 1,000 Chinese ‘shoppers’ rights cards’ and 1,000 ‘complaints cards’ at the weekend’s Chinese New Year celebrations in St. George’s market.

The Consumer Council represents and handles the complaints of energy, water and transport consumers. People who have a complaint and who haven’t been able to resolve it with the supplier should contact the Consumer Council on 0800 121 6022 or e-mail: complaints@consumercouncil.org.uk.
