Kelly condemns attack on house in Antrim

Alliance Antrim Councillor Neil Kelly has condemned the attack on a house in Tobergil Gardens, Antrim on Tuesday night. The Police are treating it as a hate crime. Two front windows were smashed during the attack

Cllr Neil Kelly said: “There is no place in our society for crimes of a hate nature. Attacks like this damages the good reputation of Antrim town.

“I know the community opposes the actions of a few mindless thugs. I would like to offer my support to the occupants of the house.

“The PSNI needs help from the community in apprehending those responsible for crimes like this so I would urge anybody with any information about this attack to contact the police.”
