The Alliance Party General Secretary, Councillor Richard Good reacting to the debate over this week’s opinion poll results, has pointed out that the only poll that really matters is the June 1998 Referendum.
Cllr Good said:
“The only opinion poll that really matters is the June 1998 Referendum. Whatever the pollsters are now producing, the only totally accurate and legally binding poll is the one in which we all participated last year.”
“Instead of wasting their energies arguing which of this week’s polls are most accurate, all those politicians who asked for a yes vote last year should be concentrating on delivering the Agreement that the vast majority of people asked them to”.
