Naomi Long MLA said: “This intimidation absolutely despicable. I have nothing but contempt for any individuals who might seek to do this to public servants that are working for the good of the whole community.
“Our council staff across the city provide an excellent service to everyone living here. Our employees should be allowed to get on with their everyday work free from fear and intimidation.
“Council employees deserve respect and their safety must be the utmost priority. I would call on anyone with information on any intimidation to contact police to help prevent this worrying problem.”
