Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “Communication is the key to efforts to keep people safe from swine flu. There will obviously be concern in the community but if everyone is kept well informed then hopefully this matter can be handled effectively.
“It appears that the health authorities here have strong strategies to combat this problem. There should be no scaremongering on this issue but it is essential that the public are kept informed of all important information.”
