Harry Hamilton said: “This was a sickening attack carried out by callous individuals who have no regard for the consequences of their actions. People could have been seriously injured or worse.
“We do not need these types of attacks on our streets. The people responsible are damaging the local community.
“If anybody has any information about this attack then I would urge them to contact the police.”
