David Ford MLA said: “This is great news which will be a big boost to the local economy. Randox is one of the key employers in South Antrim in terms of both number and quality of the jobs they provide. They have been a leading innovator in a range of different fields, providing several new services and products. Investment on this scale by a locally owned and developed company is particularly welcome.
“I have visited Randox several times and have great admiration for Dr FitzGerald and his entire team. I look forward to seeing the new site develop and will be keeping in touch with senior management to see what support the Assembly can provide to help them grow further.
“These are the types of high calibre jobs that we should be looking to create in Northern Ireland which can help fuel economic growth. I hope we will see more jobs likes these created over the coming years.”
