Fitzpatrick condemns Limavady petrol bomb attack

East Londonderry Alliance Representative Cllr Barney Fitzpatrick has condemned a petrol bomb attack on a house in Limavady, which took in the early hours of Friday morning. A woman was in the house in the Anderson Park area of the town at the time but escaped without injury.

Cllr Barney Fitzpatrick said: “This was a cold and sickening attack. The actions of those behind this petrol bomb shows that they have very little respect for human life.

“I am extremely relieved that no one was injured in this incident. This attack has left the whole area in shock at its sinister nature.

“I would urge anybody with any information about this attack to contact the police.”
