Brian Dornan has been selected by the Alliance Party to stand in the Lisburn Town North area in the forthcoming local government elections.
Brian Dornan said: “I am humbled to have been selected as the Alliance candidate for Lisburn Town North. Retiring Councillor Trevor Lunn has decided to concentrate on leading change in the Northern Ireland Assembly and I am determined to build upon his good work since 2001 on Lisburn City Council.”
Trevor Lunn MLA said ” I am delighted that we have such an outstanding candidate in Brian Dornan to present to the electorate on 5th May. Brian brings a wealth of experience to the role and will no doubt have a huge impact on Council if elected.’

Brian is a social worker by profession and currently due to retire as a senior manager within health and social services. Interests include health, the environment and building a shared future embracing all cultures and traditions. Married to Laraine, a retired local school teacher, Brian has grown up children and has his hands full with several grandchildren.
